Whether it’s a wonderful Willy Wonka, a magnificent Maleficent or two young Toy Story stars, parents and carers across the Watford area have again put plenty of effort into creating some fabulous costumes for kids on World Book Day as these pictures show.
This morning we asked for you to show us what your children have dressed up as for the annual celebration of books and reading. Scroll down this page to enjoy some of the pictures that we have been receiving.
Whether you’ve spent hours making a costume for your child or bought an outfit from a shop, we want to see as many pictures as possible of your kids in their costumes to celebrate World Book Day 2024.

Mia is a fan of Julia Donaldson books. This year she has dressed up as Princess Pearl this year from Zog and and Flying Doctors by Julia Donaldson! This outfit was originally a onesie, I customised it and made it into a top and bottoms, so that it was easier to wear.
