Eight people have been sentenced in 2024 for driving without insurance in the Watford area - but the overall number of convictions plummeted last year.
Analysis of DVLA data shows that the number of people convicted for the offence in the area has fallen by over half in the last three years.
There were 177 last year, down from 376 in 2020, 340 in 2021, and 324 in 2022.
The following people were all sentenced at St Albans Magistrates' Court for driving around Watford without the property coverage in conjunction with various offences.

Miles Freeman
Miles Freeman, of Friarswood, Kings Langley, was sentenced on January 11 for driving his Mercedes A180 in Watford on June 7, 2022, without insurance.
The 30-year-old was disqualified from owning a licence for 15 months starting on May 15, 2023, and ordered to carry out 50 hours of unpaid work.
He paid £400 in court costs and a £114 victim surcharge.
Jonathan James Hopkin
Jonathan James Hopkin, 23, was fined £323 on January 11, £85 in costs, £34 surcharge, and received six points on his licence.
The man from Garratts Road, Bushey, was caught driving his Seat Ibiza in Bushey Heath without proper coverage in June 11, 2022,
Shkelzen Lashi
Shkelzen Lashi, of Magpie Close in Enfield, pleaded guilty to three vehicle offences in Watford at St Albans Crown Court on February 2.
The 25-year-old was sentenced for driving his Blue Audi A4 dangerously in the Beechen Grove part of the ring road on December 9.
The defendant also admitted driving without a licence or third-party insurance.
Lawrence Cash
Lawrence Cash was disqualified from having a driving licence for 16 months on February 2 after he was caught driving his Toyota Yaris on cannabis, and without insurance or the correct licence in Prestwick Road, South Oxhey, on June 25, 2023.
The 20-year-old from Anthony Close, Watford, was ordered to pay £120 in two fines and a £48 surcharge.
Rohit Sohan
Rohit Sohan was disqualified from driving for six months and had to pay £200 in fines, a £80 surcharge and £85 in court costs at sentencing on February 2.
The 27-year-old man from Albion Road, Willenhall, failed to stop while driving his Yamaha motorbike without insurance in Beechen Grove, Watford, on October 7, 2023.
Hannah Sweetman
Hannah Sweetman, 34, of Barton Way, Croxley Green, was banned from driving for 15 months on February 2 after she was found drunk driving and without insurance in Beechen Grove last year.
Sweetman paid a £120 fine, £85 in costs and £48 surcharge after she was found to have 176mg of alcohol in 100ml of urine, over the limit of 107mg, when she was driving her Kia Picanto in Watford on October 12, 2023.
Adam Haili
Adam Haili, of Cressingham Road, Edgware, was caught driving a Vauxhall Corsa in Ashfield Avenue, Bushey, November 7, 2023, despite the fact his provisional licence had been revoked for medical reasons and he had no insurance.
The 22-year-old was fined £660, £310 in costs, a £264 surcharge on February 22.
Robert Webb
Robert Webb, of Muirfield Road, South Oxhey, has been sentenced after he drove while disqualified and without insurance on January 10, in Muirfield Road.
The 69-year-old received six points to his licence and paid £120 in a fine, £85 court costs and a £48 surcharge.
