Herts Police are hunting arsonists after three vehicles were set on fire within days around north Watford.
A black Mercedes was set alight in Sheepcot Lane, near Garston, at 12.15am on Saturday, February 24, before a Ford Transit van was targeted in Meriden's York Way at 11.40pm the same day.
Another black Mercedes was then set ablaze in Amwell Close, near Garston Station, at 1.30am on Monday, February 26.
Sergeant Dave Elgy, who leads the Watford Outer Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “Thankfully no one was injured in any of the three incidents, but I’d like to reassure residents that we are doing all we can to trace those responsible.”
“We have already conducted house-to-house enquiries to offer vehicle security advice and a visible police presence in the area, as we know news of these crimes will be of concern to the community.”
