Four youths have pleaded guilty to affray and grievous body harm in Watford that left a man with a broken hip.
The teenagers from Watford, Croxley Green, Bushey, and Harrow appeared at St Albans Magistrates’ on February 21 over an incident in High Street on July 10, 2022.
The two 14-year-olds and two 16-year-olds were charged with three counts of affray, while one was also charged with inflicting grievous bodily harm without intent.
He was accused of pushing a trolley into the victim, a man in his 50s, causing him to fall and suffer a hip fracture.

In court, the defendants pleaded guilty to all charges, apart from one count of affray.
They have been released on unconditional bail and will appear separately for sentencing at St Albans Magistrates’ Court on March 20, 27, and April 3.
The defendant who denied one charge of affray will attend a case management hearing alongside sentencing on March 20.
