Watford has been ranked among the top 15 best places to live in England and Wales.
Garrington Property Finders has carried out its best places to live study for 2024 and revealed its rankings, which place Watford 13th.
The result sees Watford continue to perform well in such studies after it was ranked number 1 in the 2024 UK Vitality Index.

While it did not place as high this time, the Vitality Index only included the UK’s 100 largest urban areas and most of the places ranked higher are much less urbanised.
On the individual categories assessed, the town ranked 138 for natural beauty, 855 for wellbeing, 212 for heritage, 122 for schools, employment, connectivity, 65 for value.
The guide aims to help those considering a move identify places in their area “that offer the optimum blend of quality of life and strong value”.
The rankings were out of 1,429 locations in England and Wales, chosen because they all score highly in at least one of the criteria.
Twyford (Berkshire) came first, followed by St Albans (Herts), and Epsom (Surrey) in third.
Other Hertfordshire areas cracking the list near Watford included: Abbots Langley and Kings Langley 35, Berkhamsted 21, Borehamwood 163, Bovingdon 88, Bushey made 214, Chorleywood 66, Hemel Hempstead 24, London Colney 170, Radlett 445, Rickmansworth 27, and Tring 7.
