Police have confirmed that a passenger has died after emergency services were called to Watford Junction.
Herts Police had cleared the area around Watford Junction amid a “medical episode” yesterday afternoon (February 6), in order to help an air ambulance find space to land.
After also being called out to respond to a casualty on a train at 3.02pm, British Transport Police have since confirmed that a person was pronounced dead at the scene in an incident that is not being treated as suspicious.
The force added that a file will be prepared for the coroner.

According to those at the scene, an Essex and Herts Air Ambulance circled above the station for around 10 minutes, during which time it appeared to be looking for somewhere to land.
At around 3.40pm, it landed in Radlett Road Playing Fields, a few minutes away.
Hertfordshire County Council Highways warned locals to “avoid the area” while the response was ongoing, as there are delays around Station Road at the time.
Update: An East of England Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called just before 3pm on Tuesday to reports of a medical emergency on a train at Watford Junction railway station.
“Two ambulances, an ambulance officer vehicle and the Essex and Herts Air Ambulance were sent to the scene.
"Sadly, despite the best efforts of medical crews, one patient was pronounced dead at the scene.”
