A Kings Langley teenager has been charged with assaulting two police officers on Boxing Day.
The 16-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared in Salisbury Law Courts on Friday (February 2) charged with two common assault of an emergency worker offences.
It is alleged that he attacked two different officers while they were on duty in Wiltshire.
His next court appearance is set to be in St Albans Magistrates’ Court on March 30. He is expected to enter a plea.
Common assault does not have to involve physical violence but can also include threatening behaviour that makes someone think they are about to be attacked.

David Payne, 40, of Waveney in Hemel Hempstead, has been charged with robbery as well as driving without a licence or insurance.
Payne appeared in Hatfield Magistrates’ Court on February 2 and was remanded into custody.
His next appearance is set for St Albans Crown Court on March 4.
