A man has appeared in court after a driver giving another man a lift was reportedly pulled out of their vehicle in a robbery.
Herts Police were contacted over the alleged robbery, in Paston Road, during the early hours of January 13.
They were told that a man was giving another man a lift when the passenger pulled the driver out of the vehicle and drove off in it. It was recovered later that day.

The Dacorum local crime unit investigated and a man was arrested on January 31. Charges were then authorised by CPS.
The force have confirmed that David Payne, 40, of Waveney in Hemel Hempstead, has been charged with robbery as well as driving without a licence or insurance.
Payne appeared in Hatfield Magistrates’ Court on February 2 and was remanded into custody. His next appearance is set for St Albans Crown Court on March 4.
