A warrant has been issued after a woman accused of smashing doors at Asda and stealing from Primark did not show up at court.
Yamana Njie appeared at Bristol Magistrates’ Court and Tribunals Hearing Centre on Boxing Day, charged with offences on March 2 and May 24 last year.
The 25-year-old’s next court appearance was set for January 16 this year, for a plea to be entered, but she did not appear at St Albans Magistrates’ Court.
Update (February 9): Njie was arrested this morning after presenting herself to Watford Police station.
A warrant was issued but Herts Police have confirmed that as of today (January 25) she has not been arrested.
On March 2, the 25-year-old allegedly stole a coat and a pair of leggings belonging to Primark in Watford and assaulted two people by beating them, with one being a police officer.
