An appeal has been launched following a fatal crash on the A1(M) in the early hours of yesterday morning, as police look to establish what happened.
Officers were called at around 6.30am on Monday, January 22, when black Renault Megane convertible is believed to have left the road and overturned.
Emergency services attended the scene, and sadly a 47-year-old man from Middlesex was pronounced dead.
His family are being supported by officers at this time.
"I am appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident and may have seen a vehicle on its side in the early hours of Monday morning," said Detective Sergeant Ben Heath from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Roads Policing Unit.
"If you were driving in the area between 6am and 6.30am and have dash cam footage, please report this to me."
