Redevelopment is on the cards for a “prominent” corner building of shops and apartments near Watford Junction.
The building, opposite the Estcourt Arms and Wellington Arms in Queen’s Road, has been placed on the market with a brochure outlining that it presents an opportunity for either refurbishment or full redevelopment.
The site contains four commercial units (of which two are vacant) and two apartments. The occupied commercial units are leased by Cramer Music and a leaflet distribution company.

The brochure says: “The building is in need of refurbishment so presents a wide range of opportunities ranging from a refurbishment of the existing or a potential redevelopment of the building.”
It also highlights its “prominent” location just 500 yards from Watford Junction Station and within walking distance of the town centre.
Purchasing the site would set a buyer back £930,000 and the redevelopment opportunities would be subject to planning permission.
