Two men were arrested after a Watford High Street bakery was the target of an attempted burglary.
Herts Police have confirmed that they are investigating a burglary at Krantz Bakery, between Glamourous and Proffitt & Holt Partnership, opposite the town pond.
It was reportedly hit at around 5.28am on Saturday, January 13.

A 44-year-old and a 49-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of attempted burglary. They have been released on bail while enquiries continue.
The force said that anyone with information can report it online or by calling 101 quoting crime reference 41/3406/24.

Separate appeal
Elsewhere, a van belonging to a man in his 30s was targeted outside Watford General Hospital Vicarage Road hospital between 5.50am and 10.10am on Sunday (January 14).
A Herts Police spokesperson said that “a hole was drilled into the side of a white Ford Transit”, but no access was gained and nothing was reported stolen.
No arrests have been made.
Police urged anyone with information, including relevant CCTV or doorbell footage, to contact officers via the force website or non-emergency number 101, quoting 41/3908/24.
