Abbots Langley High Street was closed as a crash victim was freed and taken to hospital.
Herts Police shut the road today (January 16) after a silver Honda and a grey Mazda crashed.
One person was able to free themselves from their car while another had to be released by Herts Fire and Rescue, before an adult man and woman were taken to Watford General Hospital.

The East of England Ambulance Service were the first emergency service to be called, at 11.20am.
Two ambulances and a response car with an advanced paramedic in critical care were sent to the scene, and the service confirmed the pair were hospitalised “for further assessment and treatment”.
Herts Fire and Rescue sent crews from Hemel Hempstead, Rickmansworth, and Kings Langley to assist.
As of 1.52pm, the road remains closed, Herts Police said.
Google Maps is reporting delays in the area.
