A GoFundMe page has been set up for contributions towards Daniel Dunton’s funeral and his two children.
Daniel went missing from Watford on January 3 before Herts Police found what is believed to be his body on Thursday, January 11.
The description for the fundraiser reflects the fact that “Daniel's death has sent huge shock waves and sorrow throughout his home town and further”.

After the family received offers of emotional and financial support from friends and family, it was decided that two family friends would create the page to contribute to funeral costs.

Contributions will go towards the arrangements and the close friends of the family added that anything exceeding the costs of the funeral will be left to his two children, “who he loved endlessly”, in a secure account for their future.
The description says: “It would be amazing if we could get together as a community to help the family as much as we possibly can and show Daniel how loved he really was.”
In the first 15 hours, £1,470 has been raised towards a £5,000 target from 68 donations.
