Fans held a minute's applause on the 30th minute of the QPR vs Watford match today remembering former Oxhey Jets player Daniel Dunton, 30.
Daniel went missing from Watford on January 3 before Herts Police found what is believed to be his body in the morning of Thursday, January 11.
In a touching tribute before kick-off, the home team QPR played the classic Elton John song 'Daniel' as part of the pre-match music. And as the game approached the 30th minute loud claps from supporters filled the Loftus Road stadium.

I can't thank you all enough. I honestly didn't think my post midweek would have such a massive impact that it did. 60k+ views & it was amazing that we all came together as a football community to pay our respects. RIP DANIEL
After hearing about the discovery of a body last week, Queens Park Rangers and Watford fans shared posts organising a minute’s applause in the 30th minute of the game, which kicked off at 12pm today.
Although formal identification is yet to take place, the 30-year-old’s family have been informed and are being supported by police officers.
Watford won 2-1 with two goals from Jake Livermore earning the away team all three points.
