- At 11.30am, Hertfordshire Highways said that a crash has taken place in the A41 southbound near Kings Langley. However, this was later confirmed to have been a car on fire, first reported at 10.53am.
- The road was closed while four engines tackled the blaze, which was put out by 11.20am.
- The road has now reopened.
