- There are reports of a "really serious" crash in The Common just after Heathbourne Road, Stanmore, heading towards Bushey
- Emergency services were called to a two-car crash at the Stanmore Hill junction shortly before 11am
- Three people were injured and two taken to hospital
- Police and the ambulance service were unable to confirm if anyone was seriously hurt
- Motorists claimed on social media that it "looked horrific", and was "a horrendous RTC (road traffic collision)".
- As of 3.16pm, there was still knock-on congestion in the area - particularly around the Heathbourne Road and The Common junction
