The Parade – alcohol licensing
A kebab shop in Watford town centre has applied for a new premises licence.
Ahmad Mohammed Mir has made the application for Woody Express Ltd at 103-105 The Parade, High Street, to allow it to provide “late night refreshments” from 11pm to 5am, Monday to Saturday, and 10pm to 5am on Sunday.

High Street, Bushey – planning permission
Planning permission is being sought to make changes to a care home in a listed building within a conservation area.
Bushey House Care Home, High Street, Bushey, has applied for planning permission to make alterations to the first floor.
The proposals include the demolition of some walls to allow the creation of four large bedrooms within the rear extension and one large bedroom inside the original house with associated en suite facilities.

Caxton Way – operating a goods vehicle
An application has been made to operate a goods vehicle from an address in Caxton Way, Watford.
Stonebridge 23 Ltd of 42a Church Road, London, has applied for a licence to use 5 Caxton Way as an operating centre for one goods vehicle.

Queen’s Road – alcohol and entertainment licensing
A Portuguese restaurant in Watford has applied for the granting of a new premises licence.
Iberia Lounge has made the application for Coach House at 85 Queen’s Road to allow alcohol to be sold from 12pm to 10pm Monday to Wednesday, 12pm to 10.30pm on a Thursday, 12pm to 11pm on Friday and Saturday, and 12pm to 10pm on a Sunday.
It has also made the application to allow recorded music to be played from 12pm to 10pm Monday to Thursday, 12pm to 10.30pm Friday and Saturday, and 12pm to 9pm on a Sunday; and to allow live music to be played from 12pm to 10.30pm Friday and Saturday, and 12pm to 9.30pm on a Sunday.

Elton Way – changes to goods vehicle licence
A grab hire firm in Watford has applied to change its existing licence to keep extra vehicles as its operating centre.
Calin Vasile, trading as C&C Grab Hire Ltd of 1 Bovingdon Crescent, has made an application to keep two extra good vehicles as its operating centre at The Conifers Yard, Elton Way.
