Busy roads in Watford and Rickmansworth are among those set to be affected by planned roadworks during the rest of this month.

Works are due to take place in roads including Waterfields Way, Eastbury Road, Hagden Lane and Bushey Mill Lane, there is set to be an overnight closure at Bushey Arches while there are also some road closures planned across our area.

With the information sourced from the One.Network website, scroll through this list of a dozen sets of roadworks due to take place from this weekend to January 26 to see if any of your upcoming journeys are set to be affected:

- Delays are likely in Clarendon Road, Watford, on Sunday due to repair and maintenance works by Affinity Water. Two-way traffic lights will be in use.

- A lane will be closed in Rectory Road, Rickmansworth, from 9.30am to 3.30pm on Monday for disconnection or alteration of supply works by UK Power Networks.

- A lane is set to be closed in Waterfields Way, Watford, from 9.30am to 3.30pm on Monday for lamp column replacement, signage and bollard works. The closure is due to happen between the junctions of access to Colne Valley Retail Park and Lower High Street.

- A lane will be closed in Eastbury Road, Watford, from Tuesday to Thursday for works by Virgin Media. The closure is due to be in place between the Deacons Hill/Oxhey Road crossroads junction and the junction with Parkside.

- Repair and maintenance works by Affinity Water are set to cause delays in Church Street, Rickmansworth, on January 14. Multi-way traffic lights will be in use during the works.

- A section of Cardiff Road, Watford, is set to be shut to drivers from 9.30am to 3pm on January 15 and 16 for infrastructure works by Thames Water. The closure is due to be in place between the junctions with Liverpool Road and Occupation Road.

- A lane is due to be closed in London Road, Rickmansworth, from 9.30am to 4pm on January 15 to cut back growth around the junction with Batchworth Lane and a service road.

- Bushey Arches roundabout it set to be shut to motorists overnight later this month for works by Network Rail. The roundabout is due to be closed from 10pm to 6.30am between January 15 and January 18.

- An application has been made to close Villiers Road, Oxhey, from January 15 to January 18 for repair and maintenance works by Affinity Water.

- Motorists are likely to experience delays in Hagden Lane, Watford, when Affinity Water will be carrying out repair and maintenance works from January 15 to January 26. Multi-way traffic lights will be in use at this time.

- Multi-way traffic lights will also be in use in Bushey Mill Lane, Watford, when tree works are carried out between January 15 and January 26. The works are set to happen between No.100 to No. 262 with the work carried out each day from 9.30am to 3.30pm.

- Talbot Road, Rickmansworth, will be shut to drivers from 7.30am to 6am from January 16 to January 18 to enable road lining to take place. The closure is due to be in place from High Street to outside No.15.
