A road in central Watford is set to remain closed for more than six weeks as a crane is in place during scaffold works.
Westland Road, a one-way road leading to Station Road from Albert Road North, is currently home to a massive crane for construction work on a building at the corner with Station Road.
A lane closure has been in place since May 17, 2023, according to One Network, and was set to last until February 7.

The full road closure with the crane is in conjunction with this and began yesterday (January 3). It is set to last until February 19.
Watford Borough Council granted permission for Junction Court, the building with the former Platform bar on the ground floor, to be expanded three storeys upwards in 2021.
Scaffolding is also up around Cassiobury House while it undergoes refurbishment to improve and reconfigure the inside and increase the interior space.
