Storm Henk is still casting a shadow over Watford transport as a line is set to be blocked until 4pm.
After a train broke down at St Albans Abbey during yesterday’s “inclement weather”, London Northwestern Railway has confirmed that all trains running between the station and Watford Junction will be cancelled until approximately 4pm.
Rail replacement buses are running and there is ticket acceptance in place with the Arriva 321 bus.

This means trains could potentially be out of action for around 24 hours.
It follows a heavily disrupted December for Abbey Line services between the stations - most recently caused by damage to overhead wires last Thursday morning.
Trains were also replaced with buses during the full duration of train drivers’ union ASLEF’s overtime ban and strike action (from December 1 to 9), a fault on a train blocked services on December 18, and a fallen tree stopped trains on December 21.
