A woman is set to appear in court accused of stealing from ASDA and Primark, smashing doors, and attacking police.
Yamana Njie appeared at Bristol Magistrates’ Court and Tribunals Hearing Centre on Boxing Day, charged with offences on two days, March 2 and May 24, this year.
On March 2, the 25-year-old allegedly stole a coat and a pair of leggings belonging to Primark in Watford and assaulted two people by beating them, with one being a police officer.

In relation to alleged incidents on May 24, she is charged with three assault by beating offences, stealing multiple items worth £128.33 belonging to Asda in Watford, and damaging the automatic shop doors to the supermarket.
The next court appearance for Njie, of Plantation Close, Bushey, is set for St Albans Magistrates’ Court on January 16, 2024, where she is expected to enter a plea.
She was granted bail with conditions.
The specific charges are four counts of assault by beating, two counts of theft from a shop, criminal damage to property valued under £5000, and assault by beating of an emergency worker.
