A fire station has hit out at illegal parking nearby making it increasingly difficult to gain access.
Kings Langley crews urged people to “help us help you”, in a social media post, stating: “Please don’t ignore these signs they are there for a reason.
“We need to be able to access the station at all times of day and night and it is becoming more and more difficult for us to turn in and park due to the actions of many.”
A ‘no public parking at any time’ sign outside the station in Common Lane is pictured in the post, which also warns of fines up to £5,000 if personnel attending an emergency are blocked.
In comments underneath, one person wrote: “Ignoring these signs is negligence and can cost lives. We should all have a duty to care for each other.

“I think people park there so they can ‘quickly’ nip to the shops/Post Office.”
Another added: “There have been signs there as long as I can remember! Amazing how some think it’s beneath them to take notice.”
