Homeless people in Watford are being offered health advice, haircuts and a hot meal at drop-in sessions at hostels.
Hertfordshire County Council set up the project with the NHS and local charities to help remove the barriers to support for rough sleepers.
The meetings are held every three months at the One YMCA at Charter House and at the New Hope Haven Support Centre, and will resume in January.
Rough sleepers can access general health advice, cancer screening and advice on stopping smoking from county council's health protection nurses.
Flu and Covid vaccinations are also available from the Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust.
The charities Change Grow Live and Breakeven have offered support for drug, alcohol and gambling addiction at previous meetings.
Mental health charity MIND has also offered mental health support and local barbers have provided free haircuts.
The sessions take place in the hostels’ communal areas over three to four hours with food and drink provided, and anyone experiencing homelessness can attend.
Hertfordshire health protection nurse, Aurea Dileto, said: “Feedback from the residents has been very positive as they feel comfortable to engage, and have built trust with our professionals.
"For myself, this experience has been truly humbling and enlightening.”
