Rickmansworth School – alcohol and other licensing activities
The Rickmansworth School Foundation has applied for permission to vary the premises licence of Rickmansworth School.
The proposal is to add the sale of alcohol at public events from 12 noon to 10.45pm; extend the area covered by the licence to include the school playing fields; add the showing of films from 12 noon to 10.45pm; extend the times the licence authorises the carrying out of licensable activities from 12 noon to 10.45pm (previously 2pm to 10.45pm) to cover events like plays, live and recorded music or anything similar.
Any representations must be submitted in writing to the licensing team at Three Rivers District Council by December 21.
St Albans Road – alcohol licensing
A pizza restaurant in St Albans Road, Watford has applied for a new premises licence.
PJ Corp Stores Ltd has made the application in respect of Papa John’s at 474 St Albans Road to allow it to provide “late night refreshment” from 11pm to 5am; the premises to close to customers at 2am but it will continue to operate as a delivery service until 5am, seven days a week.
Any representations must be made in writing to Watford Licensing Authority, Town Hall, Watford WD17 3EX by December 26.
Estate of Laura Jane Whitney
Anyone having a claim or interest in the estate of Laura Jane Whitney (otherwise Laura Jane Downer) of 33, Parkside Drive, Watford who died on May 21, 2023 is asked to submit this in writing.
Details should be sent to Roger Brooker & Co, Parker House, 104 Hutton Road, Shenfield, Brentwood, Essex CM15 8NB by January 18, 2024.
Chester Road and Durban Road East – parking restrictions
Changes are planned to the controlled parking zone affecting Chester Road and Durban Road East.
The proposal involves (a) removing four metres of no waiting at any time restrictions outside No. 19 Chester Road and replace with permit holders only, as the private access is no longer in use and (b) removing a single permit holder only space at the southern end of Durban Road East, junction with Victoria Passage and replace this with no waiting at any time for the installation of a CCTV camera in the interests of public safety.
Letters of support or objection to the proposal must be made to Watford Borough Council by December 22.
Estate of Brian Stanley Drury
Any person with a claim or interest in the estate of Brian Stanley Drury of 27, Links Way, Croxley Green, who died on May 9, 2023 should submit this in writing.
