A man has been arrested after Christmas decorations were stolen from multiple homes in Watford.
Yesterday (December 12), Herts Police confirmed that they received a report of a man unscrewing a decorative Christmas light from a front door in Balmoral Road, Watford, on Sunday morning (December 10).
The Watford Observer received more reports of similar thefts, before the force issued an update today.

“Thanks to some quick work by our officers, a man has been arrested this morning on suspicion of three thefts in Watford,” a Herts Police spokesperson said.
A 57-year-old currently remains in custody for questioning while police investigations continue.
It was reported that, between 6am and 6.30am on December 10, a Christmas light was taken from a door in Balmoral Road, then between 6.20am and 6.40am that day lights were taken from a doorway in the same road. At around 6.40am a light was also removed from the front of a property in Norfolk Avenue.
