This morning (December 11) Herts Police shared an Online Watch Link (OWL) alert asking for information on the theft from a motor vehicle offence in Whippendell Road, Watford.
A criminal, or multiple offenders, gained access to a silver Toyota Prius between 8pm on Saturday (December 9) and 7am on Sunday.

After taking the badge, they made off in an unknown direction, according to the report.
Officers asked locals to be vigilant and called for anyone with information, or who captured any relevant footage on CCTV or doorbell cameras, to contact the force by calling 101 quoting crime number 41/98522/23.
Alongside an alert warning of the theft, police recommended motorists always lock doors and shut windows, remove keys, never leave valuables inside vehicles, store ownership documents at home, and fit anti-theft screws to number plates.
