A proposal to make a major development in Watford potentially even bigger is among the planning applications submitted to Watford, Three Rivers, Dacorum and Hertsmere councils this week.

We reported on Friday how developers for the Eight Gardens scheme, off St Albans Road, want to add 75 more homes and eight additional floors to the project for which permission was granted to build more than 1,200 homes three years ago.
