Works by utility companies are set to cause some road closures while drivers may experience delays to their journeys in other streets where roadworks are taking place.
Streets in Watford, Bushey and Abbots Langley are among those where works are due to take place in the near future.
The following information is sourced from the One.Network website and is a selection of the works planned across our area in the next few weeks.
- Windmill Lane, Bushey, is set to be shut to motorists from Wednesday to Friday, December 1 for works by Affinity Water. A diversion route will be in use at this time.
- An application has been made to close The Gossamers, Watford, on December 2 and December 3 by Leep Electricity Networks to install a new power connection.
- North Approach, Watford, will be closed to vehicles from 9.30am to 4pm, from December 2 to December 4 for roadworks.
- Affinity Water will be carrying out works in Sparrows Herne, Bushey, from December 2 to December 4. Two-way traffic lights will be in use while the work is taking place.
- Works by Virgin Media may lead to disruption to drivers using South Way, Abbots Langley, between December 4 and December 6. The works are due to take place between Furtherfield and Langley Lane and multi-way traffic lights will be in use.
- Delays are likely when UK Power Connections are due to install a new service connection in Sheepcot Lane, Watford, between December 5 and December 11. Multi-way traffic lights are due to be in use during this time.
