A train fault this morning has meant London services have been cancelled and a local station may be skipped for hours.
Lines between Watford Junction and London Euston are blocked after the problem at Harrow and Wealdstone this morning (November 23).
Delays were first reported at 9.26am, but it appeared there would only be limited disruption for less than an hour. However, shortly before 10am it was confirmed that delays are now expected until 12pm.

Avanti West Coast and London Northwestern Railway services are impacted. An update from London Northwestern Railway confirmed that the affected train is currently being moved but the lines remain blocked.
Harrow and Wealdstone and Bushey station will not be served by the operator until disruption clears, except the 9.46am train from Euston to Crewe, which has been scheduled to now call at Harrow and Wealdstone to pick up passengers only.

Trains will still continue on to Watford.
According to Watford Junction departure boards, the 9.59am service to Crewe and the 10.13am to Tring were cancelled this morning.
Also set to be cancelled are the 10.43am to Tring, 10.52am to East Croydon, 11.02am to Euston, and 11.32am to Euston. Other trains may face delays and alterations but are expected to run.
There is ticket acceptance on the London Overground between London Euston and Watford Junction.
