Drivers may find their journeys disrupted due to planned road closures across our area in the coming weeks.
Roads in Watford and South Oxhey are due to be shut for reasons including resurfacing and works on trees.
The following information is sourced from the One.Network website and is a selection of the works planned over the next few weeks:
- Delays are likely in High Street, Bushey, tomorrow due to planned works by Virgin Media. The work is due to be carried out close to the entrance to St Hilda’s School and two-way traffic lights will be in use.
- Motorists are likely to experience delays in London Road, Rickmansworth, between Monday and Thursday due to hedge cutting next to the carriageway. The work is due to be carried out from Home Farm Road to the Ye Olde Greene Manne pub and two-way traffic lights will be in use.
- A road closure will be in place in Birkdale Gardens, South Oxhey, from 9.30am to 4pm on Monday for resurfacing work. A diversion route will be available.
- The Gardens, Watford, will be shut to motorists from 9.30am to 4pm from Tuesday to Thursday for resurfacing work. The closure will in place from the junction of Woodland Drive to the junction of Cassiobury Drive and a diversion will be in place.
- A road closure will be in place in Leggatts Rise, Watford, on Friday, November 24 for work by Hutchison 3G Ltd.
- A section of High Road, Watford, will be shut to vehicles between 9.30am and 3.30pm from November 27 to December 1 to enable to enable the crown of more than 55 trees to be reduced. A diversion will be in use while the work is carried out.
- Delays are likely from November 29 to December 1 in Harwoods Road, Watford, when Affinity Water are carrying out works. Multi-way traffic lights will be in use.
