Two men have been charged after an attack involving a bladed weapon was reported in Watford town centre.
Police were called at 11.57am on Saturday, October 28, to reports of a clash involving the weapon outside The Sanctuary, in Exchange Road.
According to police, the suspect or suspects then walked onto St Mary's Road before attacking a group of people in a vehicle.
Following an “extensive” search of the area, a 44-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of affray in Vicarage Road. He has since been released on police bail.
Meanwhile, two men have been charged with possession of an offensive weapon in connection with the incident.
Darren Lane, 49, and Simon Alcott, 53, both from Watford, remain on police bail ahead of appearing at St Albans Magistrates' Court.
