A pedestrian has suffered life-threatening injuries after being struck by a car during a two-vehicle crash.
Emergency services rushed to Harpenden Road in St Albans at 9.50am today (November 3) after a collision involving a silver Toyota Yaris and a Honda CRV.
During the crash, the Toyota also collided with the pedestrian before they were taken to hospital, Herts Police said. Two people have been arrested.
Sergeant Rebecca Cornell, from the Beds, Cambs and Herts Road Policing Unit, said: “I am appealing for witnesses who may have seen or have dash cam footage of both the Toyota and Honda prior to the collision – both vehicles have travelled from the Harpenden direction towards St Albans along Harpenden Road.
“I would also ask anyone who lives along this stretch of road to review their CCTV or doorbell footage to see if anything has been captured.”
Information can be reported via non-emergency number 101, or by emailing rebecca.cornell@herts.police.uk, quoting reference ISR 223 (03/11/23).
