A South Oxhey road has got one of the slowest average broadband speeds in the UK, according to new research.
Morriston Close came bottom after a comparison company, Broadband Genie Speed, did a quarter of a million speed tests UK-wide.
The road's average speed was 0.6 megabits per second (Mb), which is 1,494 times slower than the fastest, which was in Meadway, Northampton.
The research suggests it could take residents almost two days to download the Avengers: Endgame film.
However, Alex Tofts, of Broadband Genie Speed, said: “Overall, the Watford area, including Morriston Close, does have access to fast broadband. Our research highlights that residents of Britain’s slowest streets could be suffering in silence, as faster broadband is available to their homes.”
The company urged households to check their broadband speed and contact their provider if they are not receiving the guaranteed minimum speeds for their address.
