A man remains on bail after reports of a man making threats with a hammer on a train at Watford Junction.
Earlier this month, on October 6, British Transport Police officers had been called to the train station at 8.38pm after a passenger on the train reported the hammer-wielding man via text on 61016.
Police searched the area and used Watford Borough Council’s CCTV to track the suspect before making an arrest at a nearby private address in Watford on suspicion of affray and possession of an offensive weapon.
He remains on bail as of yesterday afternoon (October 17).

Separate arrest
Also confirmed yesterday was the arrest of a teenager following a bomb threat that had allegedly been received at Hertswood Academy shortly after 9pm on Friday (October 13).
The boy, from Hertfordshire, was then arrested on suspicion of blackmail on Monday (October 16).
He has been released on bail while enquiries continue.
