Two separate fires were found by rescue services in woodland.
Hertfordshire Fire and Rescue Service was called at 5:24pm yesterday (Tuesday 17 October) to reports of a fire in woodland at The Elms Fishing Club, High Street, Rickmansworth.
Two fire engines, from Rickmansworth and Watford fire stations were sent to the scene, where crews found two separate fires in the woodland.

A spokesperson said: “Access to the fires was difficult, and firefighters had to drag apart the burning material before extinguishing it with hosereels.”
The fires were extinguished by 6:45pm.
Car on fire
In an unrelated incident police were called just before midnight on October 17 to reports of a crash on the M25 clockwise between junctions 21a (Bricket Wood) and 22 (near St Albans).
A grey Mercedes crashed into a central reservation barrier and caught fire.
Two people suffered minor injuries and were taken hospital as a precaution.
The road was closed while the incident was dealt with. It re-opened around 1am.
