A new dental practice could be opening near the centre of Watford, according to new plans.
Today (October 17), a proposal to change the use of a building, at 6 Station Road near Watford Junction and just across Bridle Path from O’Neill’s, from office to dental was submitted to Watford Borough Council.
According to drawings submitted alongside the planning application, the floorplan would be recognisable as the four office rooms would become four surgeries and the break room would become a waiting room.

Internal alterations would include removing and adding walls to make the surgery spaces smaller than the offices were, and to incorporate the strong room into another room. A staircase would also be removed, and windows would be altered.
This would allow a new ‘office’ to be created as well as storage space, a reception separate from the entrance area, and a disabled toilet.
The outside would also be redesigned, with planting and the addition of a ramp.
The applicant recently purchased the property, which was previously the HQ for health wholesaler HTC Group Ltd.
