Passengers travelling between Watford Junction, London Euston and Carpenders Park have been warned of delays and cancellations.

There is disruption between London Euston and Watford Junction due to a fault.

Trains between the two stations could be affected by delays of up to 30 minutes or cancellations due to an issue with the signalling system.

There is also currently a safety inspection happening at Carpenders Park which is adding to the delays.

Originally delays were expected until 4.30pm but they are now expected to last until 5pm.

The trains which are affected are run by Avanti West Coast and London Northwestern Railway.

Passengers have been advised to check the National Rail website for updates and to keep their tickets in order to claim compensation.
