A Croxley Green road will remain closed for the weekend after a burst pipe left houses without water and a school closed.
According to One Network, Sarratt Road will be closed in both directions for repairs until Monday, October 16.
Technicians found a secondary burst, which was fixed by 1am today, but some households are still without water.
Affinity Water has been working to get residents the water supply back, as it was alerted to the issue in the early hours of yesterday morning (October 12).
Affinity water confirmed that Sarratt Road will be closed in both directions with road being reinstated through until lunchtime so we have to have a closed site today. The CLT are putting online information through the portal and we wish a happy half term to all when it comes. pic.twitter.com/zUQrESDT57

The road closure has led to York House School shutting the site for the second day in a row.
Affinity Water has announced on its website that the water flow should be “back to normal soon”.
It has also warned residents that it is “normal” if water is “discoloured or cloudy” and if this happens, it is “not harmful” and “you can run your cold tap until it is clear”.
