A road in Croxley Green could remain closed overnight as Affinity Water continues to repair a burst water pipe.
The faulty pipe in Sarratt Road, Croxley Green, was reported to the company in the early hours of this morning and led to the closure of the road.
Houses in the area experienced low water pressure or no water at all, causing York House School having to close for the day.
The Affinity Water website has kept residents updated with a further update expected at 6.30pm tonight.
The road has been closed in both directions to allow for the repairs to happen.
One Network is showing that the road will remain closed until October 16.
An alert was added to the Affinity website at 6.25am, with an update at both 10:30am and 2:30pm.
It led to York House School being closed for the day as the road closure made it difficult to get to the site.
The website suggests residents “put some (water) in your kettle or fridge for drinking in case your water needs switching off for the repair”.
