An 88-year-old woman was taken to hospital after a car crashed into a wall.
Herts Fire and Rescue were called to Little Oxhey Lane, Carpenders Park, at 4.30pm yesterday to carry out “trauma care” with reports of a person trapped in a car.
After receiving the medical care, she was able to get out of the vehicle herself with some assistance, a fire service spokesperson confirmed.

The woman was then taken to hospital by their partner as she had suffered a minor injury.
The Volkswagen Polo was the only vehicle involved in the crash.
Herts Police also attended the scene, having been called out seven minutes later.

A force spokesperson said: “Police were called at around 4.37pm yesterday to report a single vehicle road traffic collision involving a Volkswagen Polo on Little Oxhey Lane, Watford.
“Officers attended along with colleagues from other emergency services.
“An 88-year-old woman then attended hospital for treatment to a minor injury.”
