A person has been left with a broken jaw following an alleged road rage attack.
The incident is reported to have occurred in Dodd Road at the junction with Broad Road in Watford, between 1pm and 1.15pm on Wednesday, September 6, prompting an appeal for information today.
Drivers of a blue BMW and a grey Ford transit van were involved in an altercation due to the victim asking the offender to move his vehicle after they had reportedly blocked the road.
The offender then physically attacked the victim, causing a broken jaw.
Police said the alleged offender has been described as a male with a mixed ethnic background, aged approximately in his 30s/40s and heavily tattooed.
In a statement released today (October 10) detective constable Julie Vint, who is investigating, said: “This incident happened at a time of day when there was likely to be a lot of people around, so I am keen to speak to anyone who either witnessed the incident or has any information that could assist us.

“Equally, I am keen to hear from anyone who may have dash cam or doorbell camera footage of what happened.
