It’s been a busy few weeks in the world of planning applications as developers seek to build new homes or community spaces.
Some planning applications have already received a large backlash and others have not had any feedback at all.
The following applications have yet to be approved or rejected, so you still have time to have your say.

Here we round up recently submitted planning applications in Watford and the surrounding areas that are still open for public comments.
Green belt planning applications
Toms Lane, Kings Langley
Developers want to build the two three-storey and three two-storey, homes on green belt in Toms Lane in Kings Langley.
If approved, the five homes will also include a bedroom-snug or playroom on the ground floor in case the home needs to be adapted for elderly residents.

Green Lane, Bovingdon
Developers have submitted two planning documents to build homes and a retirement development at the Grange Farm in Green Lane, Bovingdon.
A full application has been submitted for 57 dwellings and a retirement development providing 59 units of 35 one-bedroom units and 24 two-bedroom units.

In addition, the developer has also submitted an outline planning application for up to 129 dwellings, a Scout’s hut, community orchard, gardens and green space.
Outline applications are used to gain feedback on the development. If both schemes eventually get approval, there will be 186 homes in total.

Molyneaux Avenue, Bovingdon
Plans for 43 new homes on land that has been removed from the green belt have been submitted to Dacorum Borough Council.
Homes England and Cala Homes Chiltern want to build the properties off Molyneaux Avenue, Bovingdon, near The Mount Prison.
The site had previously been designated as a potential area for 60 new homes.

Smaller developments
Crown Passage, Watford
Developers want to build three, two-bedroom, two-storey cottages on vacant land to the rear of a pub, The One Crown at 156 Lower High Street, Watford, and the adjoining property of 158.
If the plans are approved, the front of the properties and the front access doors will face directly on to the Crown Passage.

Heathbourne Road, Bushey Heath
Developers want to build a gated community of detached two-three-bedroom homes and two-four-bedroom homes where the current Birchville Cottage is in Heathbourne Road, Bushey Heath.
The 2,887sqm site is not within a conservation area nor is it within a flood risk.

Community development
Land to the east of Lytham Avenue, South Oxhey
A planning application has been submitted to knock down an adult day service facility and build a new one.
Hertfordshire County Council (HCC) has deemed The Northwick Day Centre in Northwick Road, South Oxhey, as unsuitable for current and future requirements.
The service, also known as the South Oxhey Day Service Centre, is for adults with physical and learning disabilities, mental health problems and age-related conditions.
A spokesperson for HCC said the new service has been designed to help “support people to live independently and stay connected within their own communities”.
If approved, the new service will be built on the site of the former Sir James Altham School site and former Homeoaks Group Home on land to the east of Lytham Avenue in South Oxhey.

Conversion planning applications
Whippendell Road, Watford
A semi-detached house would become three flats with six bedrooms under a new proposal.
If approved, the plan for a three-bed Whippendell Road home would see it converted to provide accommodation for eight people.

Crown Rise, Watford
The owner of the home in Crown Rise, Watford, wants to turn a three-bedroom semi-detached home into a house of multiple occupancy (HMO).
If plans are approved, there will be six bedrooms in the house.
Currently the dwelling has parking for one car, but spaces for four cars are being proposed in the plan.
