The biggest winner in the Watford Community Lottery so far said she is "thrilled" to have scooped the prize.
Rickmansworth resident Georgia Gain won £250, by far the largest amount after a handful of people won £25 since the competition began this year.
She has given 60 per cent of her prize money to the charity Home-Start, which she works for.
Georgia said: “I'm thrilled to have won this prize, and I couldn't think of a better way to use it than to support Home-Start. As an employee and a member of this wonderful community, I've seen first-hand the incredible work they do, and I'm proud to be able to contribute to their mission.
“Participating in the Watford Community Lottery has been a great experience, and I hope to see more big winners in the future."
Home-Start supports families with young children through challenging times across Watford and Three Rivers.
Watford Borough Council set up the initiative to allow residents to support local causes and win big.
The top prize currently sits at £25,000 weekly and the six numbers are drawn every Saturday evening.
