The body of a woman has been found in a woodland in St Albans.
The discovery was made by Hertfordshire police officers on Sunday, October 1, in a wooded area of the city.
A spokesperson for Hertfordshire Constabulary said: "Sadly, the body of a woman was found by police in woodland in St Albans on Sunday, October 1.

"Her death is being treated as non-suspicious and a file is being prepared for the coroner. Our thoughts are with her loved ones at this difficult time."
