A pedestrian in her 60s and her pet dog have died after being hit by a car.
Herts Police have today (September 29) confirmed that the woman died at the scene after a collision in Sarratt Road, Croxley Green, at around 6.15pm yesterday.
It involved a black Volkswagen Golf and the driver stayed at the scene, police confirmed. No one has been arrested.

Sergeant Alex Ward said: “Our thoughts go out to the lady’s loved ones at this terrible time.
“We are doing all we can to establish how the collision occurred and I would like to hear from anyone who thinks they can help.
“Did you see what happened or did you see the Golf in the area around this time? Have you got information that could help? Please get in touch.
“I would also like anyone who was driving in the area with a dash cam to check the footage and get in contact if you spot something that might help.”
