A man in his 50s has died after being hit by a bus.
At around 7.20am on Wednesday, August 30, a Volvo bus and the man, who was jogging, were involved in a crash in Porters Park Drive, at the junction with Grace Avenue in Shenley.
Officers, along with colleagues from East of England Ambulance Service, attended the scene, with assistance from the air ambulance.
The man was taken to hospital but passed away at around 7.15am today (Tuesday, September 26), police confirmed.
Soon after the crash, the 57-year-old bus driver was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and was released on police bail while enquiries continue.

PC Peter Hoddy from the serious collision investigation unit said: “We can confirm that that this is now being investigated as a fatal road traffic collision and we are continuing to appeal for witnesses and information.
“Additionally, we would like anyone who was driving in the area at the time, to check their dashcam and anyone who lives in the area to review their ring doorbell footage.”
Information can be given to the police via 101, quoting the crime reference number quoting crime reference number 41/69367/23.
