A school has said it is cooperating with police after footage surfaced appearing to show a man being beaten up near its premises.
In videos seen by the Watford Observer, a man is repeatedly punched and kneed by someone beside shops opposite Croxley Danes School.
A Herts Police spokesperson said: “Police are investigating an assault that occurred on Baldwins Lane, near to Croxley Danes School in Croxley Green, on September 20 (Wednesday) at around 3.31pm.
“It was reported that a man in his twenties was assaulted, causing a small cut to this face.”
The man is understood to have later gone to hospital and been told his nose was broken in three places. Pictures also show him with cuts and bruising.
The police spokesperson added: “There was a confrontation between three people outside the school. A 22-year-old man sustained an ABH-level (actual bodily harm) injury to the nose during the incident.
“No arrests have been made at this time.”
