Traffic was brought to a standstill on the M25 this morning following a crash.
Police confirmed they were called just before 7.30am to reports of a damage-only crash on the M25 anticlockwise between junction 18 and 17.
Four vehicles, two cars and two vans, were reported to be involved near the Rickmansworth and Watford areas.

No arrests were made, no injuries were reported, and everyone involved remained at the scene.
The vehicles have now been removed to the hard shoulder by the National Highways agency and the carriageway is now clear.

Despite the crash being cleared and all lanes having been reopened, the National Highways agency has said there are approximately eight miles of congestion and 55-minute delays on approach.
Delays have stretched as far back a junction 21.
Immediately after the crash, two lanes were closed, and first reports revealed that delays would only last as long as 30 minutes stretching as far back as five miles.
