- 10 fire engines have been called to the scene after the fire was reported at around 7.30am.
- Smoke was visible for some distance (including the M1 and Watford bypass).
- Locals had been warned to close their windows.
- Herts Fire and Rescue has "scaled down" its operations but emergency services are set to remain at the scene for the rest of the day.
